“ International Blockchain Congress”  IBC Hack the biggest blockchain Hackathon organized with some of the best hackers and mentors around.

IBC Hack had an objective  to uncover and showcase India’s innovative blockchain talent through a 36 hour hackathon. For those from India or globally who could not attend in person, there was an option of online Hackathons as well. As a buildup to the main hackathon, a series of bootcamps and hackathons were also organized in schools and colleges across india covering more than 5000 participants over a  span of one month. The top teams of all these colleges were invited for a central hackathon at JNTUH. The winning teams from this central hackathon found a representation in ten main Hackathon.

The hackathon (both online and offline) saw a registration of more than 12500 participants from across four continents. A rigorous process of shortlisting was done and about 200 participants were selected for the final round of Hackathon at HICC. The final set of participants was a healthy mix of Working professionals , startups and students who came through two levels of Hackathons. More than 40 industry mentors visited the hackathon event over 36 hours motivating, validating and mentoring the participants.

The event has a very illustrious Jury comprising  Mr. Rajesh Dhuddhu, Mr. Srikanth Srinivasan, Mr. Ritesh Modi, Mr. Rakesh Bhatia.

The top three teams were given a cash incentive of Rs. one lakh, Rupees Fifty Thousands and Rupees Twenty Five thousands respectively. The top ideas were shortlisted and promised mentoring by Tech Mahindra and Idealabs along with eleven01.
